Orbiter Finance, a ZK-tech-based interoperability blockchain infrastructure, has announced the launch of its native ERC-20 token, $OBT, scheduled for January 20, 2025. The token will be listed on KuCoin with the trading pair OBT/USDT, and deposits are now open via the ARB-ERC20 network, with trading to commence at 10:00 UTC on the launch date. Bybit will also host a $OBT Launchpool, allowing users to stake BBSOL, USDT, or ETH to earn a share of 80 million OBT tokens from January 20 to January 27, 2025. The total supply of OBT is set at 10 billion tokens, with an initial circulation of 2.8 billion at the token generation event (TGE), where 2.5% and 3.5% will be unlocked for ecosystem growth and the Orbiter Foundation, respectively. OBT will support Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base blockchains. Orbiter Finance, which has served 4.3 million users, processed over $28 billion, and completed more than 35 million transactions, aims to achieve its All Chains One Hub Vision with the introduction of $OBT. Additionally, Orbiter Finance has planned an airdrop, distributing 22% of the total supply to its users, with monthly airdrops of 3% for six months following the TGE. The airdrop eligibility is based on snapshots taken on January 16 and January 19, 2025, and requires users to have used the Orbiter protocol since December 2021 and to have accumulated at least 40 OPoints. On-chain governance for OBT will be open in February 2025.
