Pagliuca’s investment group intends to move the franchise to Boston for the 2027 season and has earmarked roughly $100 million for a dedicated practice facility in the city, the person said. The deal would be the highest price ever paid for a WNBA team and underscores the league’s rising valuations. The transaction requires approval from the WNBA and its Board of Governors.
