The Dallas Wings will relocate their 1 August home game against the Indiana Fever from the 7,000-seat College Park Center in Arlington to the 19,200-seat American Airlines Center, home of the NBA’s Mavericks, to meet ticket demand. Seats purchased for the original venue will be refunded, and new tickets go on sale 11 July at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. with national coverage on ION. The switch is expected to give WNBA fans a second chance this season to see top draft picks Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark face each other professionally. Clark, the No. 1 pick in 2024, missed the clubs’ first Dallas meeting on 27 June with an injury, though the contest still attracted 20,409 spectators—setting a Wings regular-season attendance record—and averaged 1.14 million viewers on ION. In that game the Fever beat the Wings 94–86 despite Bueckers’ 27 points and six assists.
