Roberto Campos Neto, former president of Brazil's Central Bank, has joined Nubank as vice-chairman and global head of public policy, as well as a non-independent member of the company's Board of Directors. He reports directly to David Vélez, founder and CEO of Nubank. Campos Neto began his role after completing a mandatory quarantine period. Following his appointment, Nubank also hired Otávio Damaso, a former director of regulation at the Central Bank, as a consultant for regulatory and risk management matters. These moves reflect Nubank's strategy to strengthen its leadership and regulatory expertise. Additionally, Sergio Rial, former CEO of Santander Brazil, has been appointed president of Frux Capital, a debt boutique. Marcelo Farinha, formerly with Pouprev and Brasilcap, has been named president of Petros.
