The Civil Police of São Paulo arrested Cayo Lucas Rodrigues dos Santos, a 22-year-old man, in Pernambuco on Monday following a warrant issued by the São Paulo judiciary. He is accused of making death threats against Felipe Bressanim Pereira, known as Felca, a YouTuber and humorist who had publicly denounced the sexualization of children on social media platforms. Authorities also revealed that the suspect was involved in selling child exploitation material online and had purchased police system passwords via Telegram. Cayo Lucas is expected to be transferred to São Paulo for further legal proceedings. Separately, the leader of the PL party in Brazil's Chamber of Deputies, Sóstenes Cavalcanti, announced that a proposed constitutional amendment (PEC) intended to provide legal immunity to parliamentarians will no longer be a priority for the party. The proposal faced resistance in both the Chamber and the Senate due to concerns over its constitutionality and lack of consensus among lawmakers, leading to a postponement of its vote.
