A man in his forties died after falling from an upper tier at London’s Wembley Stadium during an Oasis reunion concert on Saturday night, the Metropolitan Police said. Officers on duty at the venue responded at 22:19 local time, assisted by stadium medics and the London Ambulance Service. The man was found with injuries consistent with a fall and was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives have appealed for witnesses and anyone with mobile-phone footage to contact them, quoting reference 7985/02AUG, as they investigate the circumstances. The performance was part of the band’s ‘Oasis Live ’25’ tour, which has drawn large crowds across the UK. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher issued a statement offering condolences to the fan’s family. The tour is scheduled to continue in Scotland, Ireland, Canada and the United States before returning to London for two additional Wembley dates.
