On July 3, 2025, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer unveiled a comprehensive 10-year plan aimed at transforming the National Health Service (NHS) in England. The plan, described as a major renewal of Britain's health service, seeks to shift care from hospitals to community-based health centers, emphasizing prevention over crisis treatment. Central to the strategy is the development of a digital NHS app, envisioned as a 'doctor in your pocket,' which will provide patients with AI-powered digital access to services and same-day appointments.
