In-N-Out Burger president and owner Lynsi Snyder said the fast-food chain will move its corporate headquarters from California to Tennessee, ending more than seven decades of being based in the Golden State. Snyder, whose family founded the company in Baldwin Park in 1948, cited mounting business pressures in California and personal considerations for her decision. She added that the relocation will position the privately held burger chain for expansion east of its current Texas footprint into neighboring states.
