At CinemaCon 2025, Amazon MGM Studios unveiled 'Crime 101,' a new heist film starring Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo, and Barry Keoghan. Directed by Bart Layton, the movie follows jewel thefts along the Pacific Coast, with a detective closing in on a thief seeking a final score. 'Crime 101' is set to hit theaters in 2026. Also at CinemaCon, Disney presented 'Predator: Badlands,' a new addition to the Predator franchise directed by Dan Trachtenberg and produced by 20th Century. The film stars Elle Fanning and introduces a novel premise where the Predator is portrayed as the protagonist. Set to release on November 7, 2025, 'Predator: Badlands' explores a scenario where the Predator is hunted on an alien 'planet of hurt,' teaming up with Fanning's character to face larger, more grotesque creatures, including a kaiju-like beast. Trachtenberg's previous success with 'Prey' on Hulu has paved the way for this new installment.
