The fixture, the 187th meeting between the rivals, had been postponed from 15 March because the venue’s pitch and lighting were deemed unfit. Sunday’s result moves Universidad Católica up the league table with all 15 first-half fixtures now completed, while Colo Colo remains in mid-table and still must face Universidad de Chile in the Superclásico on 12 July.
