Guangdong province, China's largest foreign trade hub, saw its total import and export volume reach a record 2.14 trillion yuan in Q1, a 4.2% increase from the previous year, with exports rising 1.4% to 1.34 trillion yuan and imports increasing 9.3% to 798.15 billion yuan. The State Administration of Foreign Exchange reported generally stable operations in China's foreign exchange market during the quarter, with a net inflow of cross-border capital from goods trade reaching $206.3 billion, a 120% increase compared to the same period last year.
