China and Serbia are set to conduct their first-ever joint military exercise in Hebei, China, later this month. Serbia is the only European country to operate Chinese weaponry, having acquired FK-3 medium-to-long-range air defense systems and HQ-17AE systems. The joint exercise aims to strengthen combat skills and deepen military cooperation between the two nations. This development reflects expanding military and economic ties between Serbia and China. Separately, Russia continues to maintain approximately 5,000 troops across eight African countries. Additionally, Russia and Uzbekistan have commenced a joint military exercise named "Khamkorlik-2025" in southern Uzbekistan, focusing on improving operational coordination and combat readiness in desert conditions.
