Nvidia Corp. said a limited number of its Chinese customers have obtained licenses that enable them to continue purchasing certain Nvidia products despite ongoing U.S. export restrictions. The company did not disclose which clients were approved, what products the permits cover, or how many licenses were granted. Washington has tightened controls on advanced semiconductor exports to China over national-security concerns, curbing Nvidia’s ability to ship its most powerful artificial-intelligence chips without government authorization. Nvidia said it remains in close contact with regulators and will keep complying with all requirements while seeking additional licenses where possible.
