Russian Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers recently conducted multiple flights over international waters, including a completed flight over the neutral waters of the Barents Sea and a six-hour flight over the Sea of Japan. These long-range bombers, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, were escorted by Su-35S and Su-30SM fighter jets during the Sea of Japan operation, according to the Russian Defense Ministry and Russian news agencies TASS and RIA News. The flights are described by Moscow as demonstrations of long-range aviation capabilities conducted in accordance with international airspace regulations. Concurrently, Chinese and Russian naval fleets concluded a 15-day joint maritime patrol in the Western Pacific. The patrol involved alternating or shared command between the two navies, enhancing their joint operational capabilities and contributing to regional peace and stability, as reported by the PLA Navy and Chinese state media.
