
Chinese chipmaker SMIC is under scrutiny for potentially violating US export controls by producing chips for Huawei, according to senior US officials. Companies that could face blacklisting include chipmakers Qingdao Si’En, SwaySure, Shenzhen Pensun Technology Co, and ChangXin Memory Technologies Inc.
