However, KYC verification for mainland Chinese users is currently not supported, though overseas users can access the card. Additionally, GMT Pay has introduced a virtual card designed for mainland Chinese users, allowing $GMT to be converted into a Mastercard prepaid card that can be linked to WeChat and Alipay for everyday spending without requiring overseas identity or bank accounts, positioning it as a user-friendly alternative to exchange-issued U cards.
