A 31-year-old from Georgia has been sentenced to 10 years for laundering $4.5 million through email scams. The US DOJ arrested a Chinese national for operating a botnet that stole $5.9 billion in Covid relief funds. YunHe Wang, the alleged mastermind, created a botnet that hacked over 19 million IP addresses, stealing billions in relief funds and linked to child exploitation and bomb threats.
