Chinese generative-AI developer Zhipu AI expects its revenue to increase as much as fourfold in 2025, according to company projections reported by several technology news outlets on 1 August. The Beijing-based firm, whose large-language-model work has drawn interest from OpenAI, did not disclose its current sales base but said stronger demand from enterprise clients should drive the surge. The bullish forecast highlights investor enthusiasm for fast-growing artificial-intelligence platforms. On the same day, Toronto-based Cohere told industry publication The Information that its annualized revenue could reach US$4 billion to US$5 billion by 2029, underscoring expectations that spending on large-language-model services will continue to accelerate.
