Colombian senator and presidential contender Miguel Uribe Turbay died early Monday, two months after he was shot during a campaign rally in Bogotá, the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá confirmed. Authorities arrested a 15-year-old gunman at the scene and have since detained several alleged accomplices, but investigators have not disclosed a motive. Prosecutors say at least six people face charges ranging from attempted homicide to the illegal use of minors in violent crimes.
