Chile's LATAM Airlines reported a second-quarter net profit of $242 million on revenue of $3.28 billion. The company raised its full-year 2025 revenue forecast to a range of $14 billion to $14.2 billion, up from a previous estimate of $13.8 billion to $14.2 billion. LATAM Airlines also increased its adjusted EBITDAR guidance to between $3.65 billion and $3.85 billion, compared to the earlier range of $3.4 billion to $3.75 billion. The airline expects adjusted operating income for 2025 to be between $2 billion and $2.15 billion, up from a prior forecast of $1.8 billion to $2.05 billion. Domestic Brazil available seat kilometers (ASK) growth is now projected at 9.5% to 10.5%, higher than the previous forecast of 7% to 9%. The company anticipates receiving 12 new aircraft in the second half of 2025. LATAM's CFO indicated that the airline has factored an expected tariff agreement between the U.S. and Brazil into its outlook. The improved outlook follows robust travel demand and lower jet fuel prices.
