Veeva Systems Inc. reported its fiscal 2026 first quarter results, posting total revenues of $759.0 million, a 17% increase from $650.3 million in the same period last year. Subscription services revenues rose 19% year-over-year to $634.8 million. The company achieved a non-GAAP net income of $327.8 million, up 33% from $247.0 million a year ago, with non-GAAP diluted earnings per share at $1.97, exceeding analyst expectations by $0.23. Operating income for the quarter was $233.7 million, a 51% increase from the prior year. Veeva also surpassed its 2025 revenue run rate goal of $3 billion during the quarter. CEO Peter Gassner described this as the company's best first quarter ever. In contrast, HP Inc. reported second quarter non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $0.71, missing expectations by $0.09, and revenues of $13.2 billion, below the expected $13.5 billion. GAAP diluted earnings per share were $0.42, down 31% from the prior year, while non-GAAP EPS declined 13%. HP's Q2 net revenue was up 3.3% from the prior year period. HP cut its full-year earnings outlook to $3.00-$3.30 per share from a previous range of $3.45-$3.75, citing increased costs from tariffs and moderated demand. HP shares fell more than 14% in after-hours trading, with the stock trading at $23.32.
