The England and Wales Cricket Board said on Friday that fast-bowler Chris Woakes will take no further part in the fifth Test against India at The Oval after suffering a shoulder injury on the opening day. Woakes injured his right shoulder while fielding late on Thursday. Team medical staff fear a dislocation and will conduct additional scans after the match, the board added. His absence leaves England a bowler short for the remainder of the decisive World Test Championship fixture.
