England will be without captain Nat Sciver-Brunt for the final two games of the Vitality women’s T20I series against India after the all-rounder aggravated a left-groin injury in the second match at Bristol. Opening batter Tammy Beaumont, who led the side in Sciver-Brunt’s absence on Thursday, will continue as captain, while top-order batter Maia Bouchier has been drafted into the squad to bolster the batting options. The England and Wales Cricket Board said Sciver-Brunt is on course to recover in time for the three-match one-day international series that follows the T20s later this month.
