Authorities in Massachusetts have arrested Gregory Groom, a 22-year-old man from Rehoboth, in connection with the murder of his pregnant 18-year-old ex-girlfriend. Prosecutors allege that Groom confessed to stabbing the victim with a kitchen knife approximately two weeks ago. He subsequently drew a map leading police to the location where he buried her body on his family's 25-acre property. The victim was reportedly 11 weeks pregnant at the time of her death. Prior to her disappearance, the victim sent a text message to her sister stating, "If I die, it was Greg." Human remains consistent with those of the missing woman were found at Groom's home. Groom appeared in court and is being held without bail. This case follows other recent incidents in Massachusetts involving assaults on pregnant women, including a separate shooting and stabbing investigation. Additionally, earlier reports noted the arrest of a 22-year-old man connected to over 100 bikes and scooters riding on Boston highways, but these incidents are unrelated to the murder case.
