In Australia, the personal details of thousands of customers may have been leaked in an alleged data breach. In Pakistan, AirCod Technologies has been targeted by the Red Ransomware hacking group. Approximately 560 million people have had their private information stolen, including credit card numbers, with over a terabyte of data being sold on the dark web for an immense sum. In Mexico, MCM Telecom was attacked by the Blackout hacking group, resulting in the exfiltration of 15 GB of client information. The First American cyberattack compromised the personal information of 44,000 individuals. A threat actor claims to have extracted over 200 million records from Facebook and Instagram. In the UK, Heras was attacked by the LockBit ransomware group for the second time in nine days. Previously, on May 20, 2024, the hacking group Medusa claimed an attack on Heras, demanding a ransom of $1 million. In Canada, NTV was targeted by the Play ransomware group, leading to the theft of confidential data. In Argentina, the Cl0p ransomware group attacked Unicred, exfiltrating financial documents. In Spain, the BlackBasta ransomware group leaked 4.5 terabytes of data stolen from Ayesa. In Italy, MagicLand, the largest amusement park, was attacked by the Akira ransomware group, compromising personal and financial data. ShinyHunters is allegedly selling access to Santander Bank's database, containing data of 30 million customers. The LockBit 3.0 ransomware group targeted Ayuntamiento de San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain and Strike USA, with ransom deadlines set for June 13, 2024.
