Marianne Gonzaga, an influencer who was sentenced to two years and eight months of internment by a juvenile court for stabbing fellow influencer Valentina Gilabert in February, has been released under assisted freedom measures. The release follows an agreement reached between Gonzaga and Gilabert, with the latter expressing forgiveness. Although Gonzaga is free, she will serve her sentence under special conditions at home. The legal process against Gonzaga for qualified injuries remains ongoing. Separately, Jairo Vera, accused of rape, had his preventive detention revoked by a court and will now serve a nighttime house arrest.
