Frank Loconte from Beverly Farms, MA, was sentenced to 20 months in prison and ordered to pay $4.5M in restitution for a payroll scheme involving underreporting overtime hours and failing to pay payroll taxes. Another case involved a California tax preparer receiving a 10-year sentence for tax fraud across 13 states. A Florida man was sentenced for not paying over $900,000 in employment taxes.
