Authorities arrested two individuals, 71-year-old Richard Siegel and 39-year-old Blanca Gudino, in connection with a retail theft ring after nearly 3,000 boxes of stolen LEGO sets were discovered in a California home. The Los Angeles Police Department seized 2,800 boxes of LEGOs, with individual retail values ranging from $20 to over $1,000. The total value of the stolen items exceeds $100,000. This organized scam involved stealing LEGO sets from multiple Target stores in the Los Angeles area and reselling them online. The arrests were made on Wednesday. The thefts also included Bricks & Minifigs stores in southern California.
