A new DeFi protocol called the International Meme Fund (IMF) has been launched, allowing users to borrow MONEY, a meme-backed coin, against popular memes like PEPE, MOG, and BITCOIN. The IMF transitioned from a hackathon project to mainnet with the involvement of 5 Australian individuals. Additionally, Truth has introduced Meme Depot, a platform for meme creation and storage, aiming to become the largest meme database online. Meme Depot is currently invite-only and has garnered support from various communities and individuals in the meme space.
