Coinbase has launched its decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Base blockchain, offering millions of users direct access to onchain trading. The launch includes native tokens like $LAY, which was selected for the initial batch, signaling growing adoption and recognition of projects built on Base. Base benefits from Coinbase's extensive user base, estimated at 100 million, giving it a strong advantage in user acquisition over other Layer 2 chains. Complementing this ecosystem, Eco Routes SDK has been integrated to facilitate seamless, intent-based stablecoin transfers across multiple blockchains, including Sonic and nine other high-value chains, simplifying cross-chain stablecoin transactions. Eco Routes powers platforms such as Calderaxyz and Superbridgeapp, enabling instant and low-cost stablecoin moves. Additionally, Bittensor's subnet tokens, previously limited by complex mechanics, are now accessible on Base, allowing direct swaps of USDC, ETH, and USDT. The Eco Portal further enhances interoperability by enabling users to transfer stablecoins like USDT across Eco-connected chains, including Arbitrum.
