Musk has used DOGE to scrutinise federal funding streams for NGOs he contends misuse public money. He did not identify the lawmakers or the organisations allegedly involved, and congressional offices did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Musk’s remarks escalate his criticism of bipartisan influence networks he says obstruct his campaign to cut what he views as wasteful federal spending.
