
Bank of America (BofA) clients drove the strongest equity inflows in nearly two years during the week of the Federal Reserve's rate cut. According to BofA equity strategists, net buys of US equities were the third largest ever since 2008, with record single stock inflows. Corporate client buybacks remained strong and are on pace for a record year as a percent of market cap. The total equity inflows amounted to $6.9 billion, the largest since October 2022. Goldman Sachs noted that bullish US equity positioning continues, with inflows into US equities outpacing other regions.
