A US judge on June 11 set a June 2025 trial date for the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) case against Amazon. The lawsuit accuses Amazon of deceptively enrolling millions of online shoppers into its Prime service without their consent and making it difficult for them to cancel the subscription. The trial will be a non-jury trial, and Amazon had pushed for an earlier trial date.
