



Rubrik, a data security software platform, has officially filed for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol 'RBRK'. This move marks Rubrik as only the second enterprise software company to go public in over two years. The company, backed by Microsoft and affiliated with Lightspeed, which owned 23.9% of Class B common stock prior to the offering, reported a revenue of $627.9 million, a 47% year-over-year growth, for the fiscal year ended January 31. Rubrik's S-1 filing also revealed a $784 million Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from subscriptions, indicating a 47% growth year-over-year, with a 133% net dollar retention, 77% gross margins, and more than 6,000 customers. Despite its impressive revenue and ARR figures, the company's losses widened to $354 million, with operating margins at -50% due to significant investment in sales and marketing.
