
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced several significant updates. On July 30, the SBA stated it is considering prohibiting Mentor-Protégé Joint Ventures from competing for multiple award contracts. Additionally, the SBA is introducing a new Working Capital Pilot Program with a start date that is fast-approaching. On July 31, the agency addressed issues related to a Covid-19 relief program by turning to bankrupt borrowers. Furthermore, the FAR Council has proposed a rule to implement SBA Mentor-Protégé incentives for Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories.
