Tencent has officially launched its AI infrastructure brand, Tencent Cloud Zhi Suan, during the Global Digital Ecosystem Conference on September 5th. The company also introduced its new-generation AI foundation model, Hunyuan Turbo, which improves training efficiency by 108%, increases reasoning efficiency by 100%, and reduces reasoning cost by 50% compared to the previous generation. Additionally, Tencent's Hunan-Turbo LLM has shown significant improvements in performance, inference speed, and cost, leading the domestic competition in Chinese language processing and matching GPT-4 in various English and Math evaluations. BYD is a customer of Tencent's new AI solutions. Baidu has also made advancements, upgrading its ERNIEBot app to ERNIE 4.0, which is available for free until the end of September. Baidu AI Cloud's Qianfan Foundation Model Platform now offers fine-tuning for ERNIE 4.0 Turbo, bringing the total number of customizable ERNIE models to six, with over 21,000 models fine-tuned to date, serving more than 1,000 enterprises.
