Oil benchmarks fell on Tuesday, with the NYMEX West Texas Intermediate September contract settling at $65.16 a barrel, down $1.13, or 1.7%. Brent crude closed at $67.64, a decline of $1.12, or 1.6%, leaving the global marker below $68 for the first time in a week. Refined products also eased. September gasoline futures settled at $2.0915 a gallon, while diesel ended at $2.2502. In the gas market, September natural-gas futures closed at $3.0100 per million British thermal units.
