
Capgemini reported first-quarter 2025 revenue of €5.55 billion, a 0.5% increase year-over-year on a reported basis and a 0.4% decline at constant exchange rates, slightly exceeding analyst expectations. Bookings rose 2.8% year-over-year to €5.88 billion, with more than 6% of bookings related to artificial intelligence. By geography, revenue declined 4.9% in France and 2.3% in the rest of Europe, but grew 3.9% in the UK and Ireland, 0.8% in North America, and 7.6% in Asia-Pacific and Latin America. Capgemini confirmed its full-year 2025 targets, anticipating revenue to range from a 2% decrease to a 2% increase at constant exchange rates, an operating margin of 13.3% to 13.5%, and organic free cash flow of around €1.9 billion. The company indicated that tariffs imposed by the Trump administration have not had a major impact on client decisions. Capgemini shares rose as much as 8% at the open to €137.35, making it the top performer on the CAC 40 index. Schneider Electric reported first-quarter 2025 revenue of €9.33 billion, representing 8.4% growth year-over-year and 7.4% organic growth, but falling short of the company’s estimate of €9.47 billion. By division, Energy Management revenue was €7.57 billion and Industrial Automation revenue was €1.76 billion. Western Europe saw a 3.6% organic decline, while North America and Asia-Pacific posted gains. Schneider Electric maintained its 2025 guidance, including organic EBITA growth of 10% to 15% and an adjusted EBITA margin of 18.7% to 19.0%, slightly lower than the prior margin forecast of 19.2% to 19.5% due to currency effects. Schneider Electric shares fell 6.75% to €202.40 following the results, marking the largest drop on the CAC 40 and contributing to a pause in the index’s recent rally.
