Online brokerage eToro has introduced an artificial-intelligence assistant called “Tori,” integrating the tool directly into its trading application. The companion allows users to query individual assets, compare stocks and cryptocurrencies, monitor market trends and receive real-time breakdowns of their own portfolios, according to the company’s product announcement on 7 August. The launch marks eToro’s latest bid to differentiate itself in a crowded retail-trading market by embedding generative AI into routine investment decisions. While eToro promoted Tori as a way to simplify research and provide faster insights, the company said human oversight remains available for planning and risk management.
