Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has introduced a limited-edition XRP version of its credit card for U.S. customers, developed in collaboration with Ripple. Issued by WebBank on the Mastercard network, the card deposits rewards instantly into users’ Gemini accounts and is available starting 25 Aug 2025. Cardholders can earn up to 4 percent back in XRP—4 percent on fuel, electric-vehicle charging and rideshare services; 3 percent on dining; 2 percent on groceries; and 1 percent on all other purchases. The product carries no annual or foreign-transaction fees and offers a promotional $200 in XRP to customers who spend $3,000 within their first 90 days. Alongside the launch, Gemini added support for Ripple’s U.S. dollar-pegged RLUSD stablecoin on its spot trading platform, removing conversion fees and broadening payment options. The move deepens the firms’ partnership as Gemini prepares for a planned Nasdaq listing amid renewed investor appetite for crypto-focused offerings.
