Stripe has officially relaunched its 'Pay with Crypto' option, allowing businesses in the U.S. to accept payments in USDC stablecoins. This feature, which had been disabled since 2018, is now back and supports payments via Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon networks. Merchants can receive stablecoin payments from customers in over 150 countries, converting them to USD. In the first 24 hours, customers from 70+ countries have paid with stablecoins through Stripe. There is a $10,000 per transaction limit and a $100,000 monthly limit, with a 1.5% fee per transaction. Stripe's integration aims to simplify crypto payments for merchants, leveraging partnerships with Phantom and Circle.
