Several state law enforcement agencies across the United States are competing in the American Association of State Troopers' 2025 Best-Looking Cruiser Contest, with voting open through July 11, 2025. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), having won the contest in the previous two years, is seeking a third consecutive win. Florida currently ranks second behind Michigan in the ongoing competition. The Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS), Wisconsin State Patrol, Virginia State Police, Maryland, Kansas Highway Patrol, and Washington State Patrol are among the participants actively encouraging public votes. The top 13 cruisers will be featured in the association's 2026 calendar. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody have publicly urged residents to support FHP in the contest. Texas DPS has also been actively campaigning for votes to secure the top spot. The contest highlights the design and appearance of state trooper cruisers nationwide.
