The Ethereum Community Conference, known as EthCC[8], will convene in Cannes from 30 June to 3 July, drawing hundreds of blockchain developers, investors and policy specialists to the French Riviera for what organisers bill as Europe’s largest annual Ethereum gathering. Core infrastructure providers including Polygon, Arbitrum, StarkWare, Base and EigenLayer plan to run workshops, technical panels and product demonstrations, while security firms such as OpenZeppelin and Consensys Audits focus on new threat-mitigation tools. Lido, Aurora and dozens of emerging projects have also scheduled talks on staking, decentralisation and on-chain finance. A series of satellite events is set to broaden the agenda. ‘RWA Cannes’, a 500-person institutional forum on real-world asset tokenisation hosted at the Casino Barrière on 30 June, will feature speakers from VanEck, Citi and Chainlink. Research houses Messari and Token Terminal will co-host an industry networking reception on 1 July, and Monerium is running a €3,000 stablecoin giveaway for conference participants. The week continues with ETHGlobal’s hackathon from 4 to 6 July, offering developers prize funding and mentoring. Confirmed speakers across the programme include Ethereum France president Jérôme de Tychey, EY global blockchain lead Paul Brody and Polygon chief executive Marc Boiron, underscoring the event’s role as a barometer of technical and commercial trends in the Ethereum ecosystem.
