American rapper Doechii has pulled out of three high-profile European festival appearances scheduled for this week, organisers for Paris’s Rock en Seine, London’s All Points East and Bristol’s Forwards festivals said on Tuesday. The cancellations affect shows slated for 21, 23 and 24 August, respectively. No reason was given. Doechii, 27, had been promoted as one of the marquee acts at Rock en Seine, which attracts roughly 40,000 spectators a day. Her withdrawal follows the festival’s earlier loss of headliner ASAP Rocky, recently replaced by Kid Cudi, compounding pressure on the event’s line-up two days before opening night. At All Points East, the Florida-born rapper’s slot will be redistributed among a bill that still features Raye and Tyla, while Forwards will rely on artists such as Jorja Smith, The Last Dinner Party and Olivia Dean to anchor its Sunday programme. Both U.K. festivals said they hope to book Doechii in future editions. The artist, known for her hit "Anxiety," last played the United Kingdom at Glastonbury in June and more recently appeared at Lollapalooza in Chicago on 2 August. Her North American “Live From the Swamp” tour is due to start in October.
