The harmonised CPI for the European Union in Germany edged up 0.1% month-over-month, with a 2.0% year-over-year increase. Meanwhile, Germany's Producer Price Index (PPI) for June rose by 0.1% month-over-month, matching expectations and reversing a previous 0.2% decline. On a year-over-year basis, the PPI fell by 1.3%, slightly more than the 1.2% decrease recorded in the prior month but in line with estimates. These figures indicate a modest rise in consumer prices across German states and a continued decline in producer prices compared to the previous year.
