
Lucid Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: LCID) has reported a record delivery of 3,109 electric vehicles (EVs) in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 58% increase compared to the same period last year. This performance stands in contrast to Rivian, which experienced a 36% decrease in deliveries. Additionally, Lucid's sales in Germany have surged by 600% year-to-date, with 35 vehicles sold in the first three months of 2025, compared to just 5 in the same timeframe last year. In March alone, Lucid sold 7 vehicles in Germany. The company is preparing for its first quarter results discussion and has also priced a $1 billion offering of convertible senior notes at a 5.00% interest rate. However, shares of Lucid Group fell by 6.3% in pre-market trading following the announcement of the notes offering.
