Professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau used a live appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday to renew his call for a resolution between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour, saying he “would love to be playing against Scottie Scheffler more” and expects the impasse to be “figured out.” DeChambeau praised Scheffler’s “spin and distance control” as the best since Tiger Woods and argued critics should judge the Saudi-backed circuit on its merits, adding that LIV’s team format is “really cool.” During the broadcast, DeChambeau attempted a series of 14 tee shots at a short-course hole inside McAfee’s studio, a challenge that pledged $100,000 to a charity of his choice for a hole-in-one. Although he came close, the effort ended with a $50,000 contribution to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.
