A large wildfire has been burning out of control in the Asprochori area of Oropos, East Attica, Greece, with two active fronts. The fire has reached residential yards in Asprochori, prompting a precautionary evacuation message via the 112 emergency system. Authorities are conducting an overnight battle against the flames, deploying 13 aircraft and six helicopters to combat the blaze. The fire has spread over an area approximately one kilometer in length. Due to the fire's proximity and threat, the migrant facility in Malakasa has been evacuated as a precaution. Additional wildfires have been reported in other parts of Greece, including low-vegetation fires in Himadi, Larissa; Taxiarchis, Thermo in Aetolia-Acarnania; Tyrnavos; and a fire in an agricultural-forest area near Doirani, Kilkis. A forest fire has also been reported in Kırklareli, Turkey.
