The advisory, released on January 24, emphasizes the need for users to update their browsers to mitigate potential risks. CERT-In has categorized these vulnerabilities as high-risk, urging users to take immediate action to protect their data from potential threats. Additionally, recent reports highlight new side-channel attacks affecting Apple Silicon processors, which could leak sensitive information from browsers including Chrome and Safari. These vulnerabilities, named SLAP and FLOP, impact various Apple chips, including M2, A15, and newer models, with no fixes currently available.
