The Supreme Court of India has decided to add two more judges to its constitutional bench. In a related development, former Supreme Court judge Dinesh Maheshwari has been appointed as the Chairperson of the 23rd Law Commission of India. The Law Ministry confirmed this appointment, which also includes Advocate Hitesh Jain and Professor D.P. Verma as Full-Time Members of the Commission. These changes were officially announced following a notification from the President of India, which was issued after consulting with the Chief Justice of India.
